1.1 These instructions explain how to request the deletion of your data from the SapienAI services, including messages handled by Echo (our WhatsApp AI assistant), documents processed by Lexra (our medical document OCR), and financial records held in Zerva (our personal financial management app).
2.1 When you message a business that uses our services, we process the information needed to run those services — for example the WhatsApp messages sent to and received from you, your WhatsApp profile name and number, and any documents or client records a business creates about you.
3.1 If you are a customer, patient or client of a business that uses our services, the record about you belongs to that business. The fastest way to have your data deleted is to contact the business directly and ask it to delete your record.
3.2 You may also request deletion directly from us, at any time, using the contact details below. Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant record (for example, the name of the business you dealt with, your WhatsApp number, and the approximate date).
4.1 We will act on your request within thirty (30) days. Where the record belongs to a business, we will notify that business of your request so that it can delete your record, and we will delete or irreversibly de-identify any data we hold about you to the extent we are able.
4.2 We may need to retain certain data where required by law, or where it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Data contained in routine backups is overwritten in the ordinary course.
4.3 You may also delete your WhatsApp conversation with a business directly in WhatsApp. Deleting a conversation in WhatsApp removes it from your device and your side of the conversation.
